LIVE STUDIO RECORDINGS
Welcome to LINC Pilates and my new “live studio” recordings. The aim of these “live recordings” is to support you and your ongoing health and fitness goals no matter where you may be, so you can experience a “real” Pilates workout whether you are at home, the office, or even on holiday! These “live recordings” are just as mobile as you are, so you save a copy to your desktop, your laptop, your phone, a disc or whatever portable device you may have, then simply “PUSH PLAY”! The sound quality will differ to a “pre-recorded” session; however, the quality of the workout is far superior as these sessions were performed in my studio, by real people, under my instruction and close supervision.
There are 3 levels of classes to choose from and each workout consists of 3 sequences – standing, seated and lying, so you can complete as much of the workout as you want to depending on your time. You will hear modifications, progressions and corrections which are specific to each movement, but also specific to the group of people who were attending the session at the time. You will experience the candid sense of class humour which I believe is key to the success of any ongoing exercise programme and you may even hear mention of your name if you were one of the class attendees.
Preparation – this is an introductory session which explains all the basic terms and concepts of LINC Pilates. This session is very important, as it provides you with a base of knowledge and key movements which will help you to progress safely and mindfully into the “foundation” and “extension” sessions. Foundation –these are technique sessions where you focus on each of LINC Pilates movements while building strength and endurance so you are ready to join the “extension” sessions. These sessions are ideal if you are new or have limited Pilates experience, are recovering from an injury, are pre or post natal, or if you simply want to work at a more gentle pace. Extension – these sessions connect all the principles of LINC Pilates “mind, body, breath, movement”. You will work through a range of movements in a very flowing format and experience the essence of a workout which is mindful and as challenging as you want it to be. Click here to BUY NOW
Health and Personal Safety:
If you have any health concerns or special conditions, please consult a qualified professional and ensure you are able to undertake a Pilates session without any risk to yourself. Be mindful of how your body is feeling and take note of your general health and conditioning each time you perform your workout. Listen for modifications or rest at any stage if you need to. Please save a copy of the “LINC Guidelines” and refer to these before you commence your workout. 3. You will receive a “purchase receipt in your email inbox with a direct link” to your download so you can save it to your computer and transfer it to other mp3 devices.
